Seed Grant (CHRF only)
Seed Grant (CHRF only) Seed grants are for proponents who need to do some planning and preliminary work before submitting a full new proposal for caribou restoration project. Proponents may request a maximum of $10,000 to help fill information gaps, explore project feasibility, identify project partners, and prepare technical information to develop a full proposal idea. Seed funding is not intended to be used for small, stand-alone projects. Seed grant activities are meant to culminate in the submission of a full HCTF proposal (ideally within two years). Note: CHRF funding is specifically for projects actively restoring caribou habitat in BC. If you are seeking funding for another type of caribou conservation project, please see our Fish and Wildlife grant webpage or contact email@example.com for clarification. Please ensure you’ve reviewed all of the information on the HCTF CHRF Overview webpage and CHRF Seed Grants webpage prior to starting your application.
