The purpose of the Invasive Mussels Lake Monitoring Fund is to ensure lakes and rivers across the province of B.C. are actively sampled and monitored for the presence of invasive mussels. The Invasive Mussels Lake Monitoring grant provides applicants with funding for labour, materials, and travel costs to annually monitor B.C.’s priority lakes, as determined by the Province, following a standardized sampling protocol.
